Coronavirus Update - Safer at Home Activity Postponement
Today Governor Lee asked all Tennesseans to evaluate and cease all activities that are non-essential. As a district, we want to do our part to keep students, families, and faculty healthy and safe. In light of that, LSSD will temporarily postpone all non-essential activities. We will continue our efforts to feed our children and provide them with academic materials and supports, but all other events and gatherings, including parades, will now be suspended.
Update to Free Breakfast and Lunch Feeding Schedule
Due to the closing of Don Fox Park and continued efforts to encourage social distancing, LSSD meals that have been distributed at the park will now be available from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at Castle Heights Elementary, 1007 Castle Heights Avenue North. Please look for signs which will direct you around the left side of the main drive. All other sites and times will remain the same.
LSSD Schools Remain Closed Through April 24th
In compliance with recommendations from Governor Lee, LSSD schools will remain closed through April 24, 2020.
